How to Aim Your Golf Club Face Properly
If you aim a rifle away from the target, you can't expect the bullet to go where you want it to right? If you aim your golf club away from the target, you can't expect the ball to go where you want it to can you?
The fact is that the vast majority of golfers fail to setup their body and club in a way that relates to the target and allows their mind and body to move in a consistent way and send the ball to the target. In this article we are mainly focused on getting the club face setup "Square" to your intended target.

which is a magnetic device that sticks on your club-
I am not going to go into detail here about ball compression and point of separation
of ball from club face, which dictates that the club face be slightly open at the
first point of contact between ball and club-
First stand directly behind the ball on a direct line toward your intended target. Now pick a small spot on the ground 6 to 8 inches on front of the ball which is on the ball to target line. Memorise this position. This little target in front of your ball we call the intermediate target.
Go through your normal routine and as you walk into the ball, keep note of the spot you picked. You can easily draw a "mental line" going from the middle of your ball to the small target you decided on, the intermediate target. Remember this line is referred to as the" ball to target line".
Place your club-
Keep the face 90 degrees to the ball to target line and then settle into your stance.
Make sure that while you are settling into your stance that the club-
When settling into your stance you should also get your toes, knees, hips, shoulders and eye line all parallel to the ball to target line.
